A Registered Professional Forester with a BSc in Forest Ecology and Management from UNBC, Yvan is skilled in full-phase cut-block design, working with major licensees like Canfor and BC Timber Sales. His role encompasses a wide range of forestry projects, including timber cruising and ecosystem restoration, alongside expertise in forest health, GPS, GIS, and mobile field technology.
Yvan leads a team of sawyers to deliver comprehensive wildfire risk reduction and FireSmart services, from field assessments and professional recommendations to operational treatments and ongoing monitoring. His commitment to sustainable forestry and wildfire safety drives impactful initiatives that protect and restore natural resources across BC.
