Lindsey has been part of the Nupqu team since 2020 and co-manages the Archaeology Division with Jacob Liddy. She holds government-issued Heritage Conservation Act permits and leads field crews conducting development-driven archaeological assessments throughout the Kootenay region. With over 10 years of archaeological consulting experience, Lindsey’s areas of expertise include cultural resource management and pre-contact occupation in the Southern Interior of BC, and she is actively pursuing further research in forensic archaeology and genocide studies in preparation for her Master’s program in 2026.
Lindsey holds a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in History from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and is a BC Government-approved Field Director and Permit-Holding Archaeologist for the Interior Plateau Culture Area. She is an RPCA with the BC Association of Professional Archaeologists (BCAPA) and is an approved RISC instructor.
In her free time, Lindsey works as a Board of Director for the Castlegar and District Chamber of Commerce, enjoys reading, supporting local events, attending live music shows, exploring the Kootenays, and volunteering at the Abbotsford International Airshow as the Team Lead of the Performers Chalet.
