Identify archaeological sites that may be impacted by the proposed road rehabilitation.
An archaeological gap analysis was completed in 2023 to identify existing archaeological sites, as well as area with potential for archaeological sites that would be impacted by the proposed road rehabilitation. Throughout 2023 and 2024, archaeological impact assessments were completed, archaeological sites were recorded, and management recommendations were provided.
The Project identified archaeological sites that would have been impacted by the proposed road rehabilitation. Management recommendations were provided, and impacts to the archaeological sites were avoided.
