Timber Harvest Development

  • Purpose:

    To develop a block of timber to a stage where cutting permits and road permits can be applied for.
  • Services:
    • Crew of 2 SR & JR technician.
    • Lidar mapping and design
    • Block boundary development, road design and layout, Wildlife Tree Patch reserves and riparian management development
    • GPS data collection of linework in the field
    • Assessments: Stream assessments, Culvert sizing, Wildlife tree patch cards,
    • Ecosystem classification, including soil pits.
  • Outcome:

    Successful annual timber block developments for client. Timber development of technical terrain requiring conventional and winch assist systems.
