Melanie is responsible for the project management at the Nupqu Native Plant Nursery as well as supporting the onsite growing, research, and seed inventory management. Her responsibilities include management and communications relating to nursery contracts as well as in-field work, research, and testing of vegetation, seedlings, and seed. Melanie obtained her BSc in 2017 and has since had experience in resource management, species at risk, and reclamation projects. She is passionate about work that supports the rehabilitation of the native land and takes pride in combining creativity and connection with western science.
